This weekend, The Hatworks Boulevard will wear a festive look, dotted with flowers by the day and lights as the sun sets in. The heritage bungalow-turned-lifestyle retail destination will host a pre-Diwali gala sale. It is being organised for the first time by the owners who run a spa, a garden studio, an art gallery, a furniture store, and clothing, jewellery and accessory outlets there.
Expect at least 20 per cent discount on each of their offerings – diyas, candles, ethnic clothes for men, women and children, décor items, sweets and more. A few surprise offers are in store too.
Since the outlets at The Hatworks offer products and services that go well with the theme of Diwali, it made perfect sense to hold such an event, the owners tell us.
They have also invited other exhibitors to make it a one-stop-solution for everything Diwali. Pick up handcrafted candles inspired by mehendi from Either Orr. Or, bag kanjeevarams from Chennai-based Silkworm boutique. Mumbai’s Stoff Footwear is also showcasing.
Do check the gourmet hampers ‘India in a Box’ by PlaceOfOrigin – it packs famous sweets, snacks, or even tea and coffee from different parts of the country in a gift box.
And, don’t forget to fill yourself up with global delicacies or signature snacks and beverages whipped up by the owner of The Hatworks, Anna Minocher, herself.
So, forget the chaos of the malls. And, go shopping with your family amid the quaint, beautiful and green environs of The Hatworks.
