LeapFrog brings fun and education to the country with innovative toys
As of last month, Funskool has become the official distributor of Leap Frog toys and will bring in three distinct offerings that the American company is best known for — reading aids, learning and multimedia toys.
Speaking about bringing the LeapFrog range to India, R Jeswant, senior vice-president for Funskool, says, “We have always been in the forefront, offering quality toys to our customers. The makers of LeapFrog have also been committed to a similar vision of creating educational and inspiring toys for kids.”
Kids from six to 36 months can be introduced to shapes and numbers with the picnic basket that has two cups, forks, six plates and food – strawberry, cheese and crackers and a piece of chocolate, all to teach shapes as they fit into slots on a platter. For the same age group, we were fascinated by My Discovery House which allows little ones to push, slide, open and close doors or turn the house to explore it entirely. The Scout and Friends baby walker has manipulative features that play the alphabet and more with collapsible legs so the young ones can sit on the floor and enjoy it.
The Touch Magic Learning Bus has over 200 responses to learn the alphabet, improve vocabulary and understand animal sounds.
Those between the ages of three to seven can indulge in technology with the LeapPad2™ Learning Tablet that comes with two cameras, pre-loaded learning songs, art studio and the Cartoon Director app that lets you create your own movies. We love that all the games offer tutorials, hints, tips and ideas at each stage.
