    With occasional master classes and community cookouts, Weber chefs say there is more to barbecuing that dumping the food on the grills. “We have recently launched the Weber Experience BBQ Roadshow in the form of a branded mini truck that makes its way to residential communities, corporate campuses and colleges, showcasing barbecue workshops and demos,” shares Aslam Gafoor, GM, Marketing at Weber-Stephen Barbecue Products India. Not only do they teach you the proper methods of using their grills but they also have a team of creative culinary experts who will help bring in imaginative recipes to your brunch. “It is a master class with experts on hand to guide you and your party through a fun grill experience,” he shares.

    Currently in the inaugural phase, the master classes are free for now. But increased numbers and customised meats and menus will be chargeable. We love that they also teach you to grill food with the lid on, which means everything from whole chickens to chocolate brownies, and even pizzas and desserts. With their tips and advice, you’ll be ready for a MasterChef showdown by the end of the summer!

    Abeo’s Kitchen
    Primarily a catering business,  Abeo’s Kitchen’s biggest draw is their dial-a-barbecue feature. Started by Nishanth Prasannan and his food8lead3wife Priyamvada Gajaraj, their team will set up the barbecue from scratch, in your home, and cook up the barbecue specials on their menu to perfection. “We were thinking of ways to commercially exploit Priyamvada’s grilling skills and wanted something that did not require a full day’s work, specially since we have a kid,” says Prasannan when asked how they ventured into the business.

    Having catered to a substantial number of parties already, they also set up shop at music festivals and flea markets. Now, purely a business based on referrals, their barbecue bestsellers include grilled chicken Mediterranean, stuffed peppers, pork chops, herb-marinated veal rashers and honey-glazed pineapple with cream.
