Masaba brings her A/W 14 line to the city this weekend

Those with a quirky taste, should make a beeline for the Masaba trunk show to be held at the Bombay Attic this weekend. Known for her zany prints and out-of-the-box fun silhouettes, Masaba Gupta’s show offers the true essence of her style. Look out for fabrics like satin and scuba (double-knit) that come with Masaba’s signature prints and styles. “We are showcasing young silhouettes with fun prints in our collection pooled with a fusion of colors,” Gupta shares. A combination of their SS’15 and their A/W’14 collection, the outfits include festive and everyday wear. The range will include a wide selection of silhouettes like shift dresses, crop top sets, saris, jackets and cover-ups. Keep your eyes peeled for the plate and spoon crop top and flounce skirt set, which we quite like, and the black and white striped sari with abstract grey and red prints.
Her latest collection is a collaboration with Fiama Di Wills Shower Jewels which brings forth the amalgamation of fluid silhouettes with zodiac signs. The palette brings together the feistiness of the Patakha, which is instinctively raw and aflame and is simply irresistible when combined with the natural delicate character of florals. “From fabrics to prints, this collection is a marriage of earthy motifs of zodiac signs and embellishments,” she reveals.
