Launch of veteran journalist Barkha Dutt’s book

The Unquiet Land was the talk of the town last week. The evening was compèred by Kiran Mazumdar Shaw, and was attended by Yasmeen Premji, Ramchandra Guha, Girish Karnad, Pankaj Advani, and Charu Sharma among other eminent personalities. Dr Saagarika Ghoshal, director, human resources at METRO Cash & Carry India, launched the book 25 of India’s Biggest Chefs recently. It is a compilation of all-time favourite recipes of top 25 Indian chefs, which include Sanjeev Kapoor’s shaam savera, and Kunal Kapur’s haleem. Chefs Ramaswamy Selvaraju, Naren Thimaiah, Anil Rohira and Sabyasachi Gorai were spotted at the event.

Actress Priyanka Upendra inaugurated ‘Asia Wedding Fair 2016’ recently. The three-day exhibition showcased wedding finery for men and women, jewellery, cosmetics, and even had stalls by wedding card manu-facturers, and honeymoon tour planners.
