From Scout Willis to Rihanna, the latest crop of celebs who have no qualms about shedding their clothes for risqué photos

    Grabbing eyeballs
She has posed nude for many magazine shoots earlier. However, Kim Kardashian’s latest photoshoot grabbed attention, with admiration from her fans and criticism from some like Glee star Naya Rivera. In the latest issue of Paper magazine, the mother-of-one is seen posing with nothing but a neck wrap, and holding a sequin gown around her thighs as she stands on a pedestal next to a bottle of champagne. The magazine’s editorial director Mickey Boardman was quoted saying, “Kim’s attitude was ‘if we’re gonna do it, let’s really go there. And it was her idea to take off her clothes and show more than her butt.”

Known for her outrageous image, Miley Cyrus has never shied away from skimpy clothes. In her photoshoot in September for V magazine, she posed fully naked with the top half of her body completely uncovered. The editorial feature was shot by well-known designer and photographer Karl Lagerfeld. Cyrus, who earlier released an artwork collaboration with American designer Jeremy Scott at the New York Fashion Week, explained, “I know that I’m not a pop pop dumb dumb. I’m a lot more than someone who just shakes her ass onstage.”

    Rihanna1Stripped down
After posing nude for the cover photo of Lui Magazine in April this year, Rihanna, who is famous for her fashion sense, did it again. The songstress is seen stripping down for the December issue of Elle magazine, in which she is wearing nothing but a Yeprem necklace. The 26-year-old Diamonds singer also revealed in the issue that if she wasn’t a pop star she would be a wife and claims that any man that tells her what to do is sexy. Rihanna’s makeup remained soft for the shot and her hair was pulled back.

    Scout Willis1Oppose-stagram
This June, Scout Willis shared topless photos of herself walking down the street in New York’s East Village to protest against Instagram’s nudity policy. The 22-year-old resorted to the act when her Instagram account was deleted after she posted a photo of herself in a sheer shirt without a bra. Willis later explained, “What I am arguing for is a woman’s right to choose how she represents her body — and to make that choice based on personal desire and not a fear of how people will react to her or how society will judge her. No woman should be made to feel ashamed of her body.”

    Keira Knightley4Topless protest
Keira Knightley, who had a public battle with Photoshop in 2004, when her chest was digitally enlarged for the poster of King Arthur, posed topless in Interview this August. She recently came out and said that she did this so that people could see what she really looked like. “I’ve had my body manipulated so many times for so many different reasons, whether it’s paparazzi or for film posters. That [shoot] was one of the ones where I said. ‘OK, I’m fine doing the topless shot as long as you don’t make them any bigger or retouch.’ Because it does feel important to say it really doesn’t matter what shape you are,” the Imitation Game actress said.
