Take a ride
The Bikers Fest has a much anticipated custom stunt show. Organised by the Pondicherry On&Off Roaders Motor Club, the two-day event is expecting close to 1,000 participants from across India. Anyone with a valid driver’s license can take part in the fest, which is hosting an inaugural 15-km ride in town on July 9 and an after-party for the participants, at the St James Court Beach Resort. Intimate Lines, the new exhibit at Tasmai art gallery, features drawings, paintings and sketches on various materials, including paper, canvas, tiles, charcoal blocks and cow dung. Artist Pradeep Kumar’s mixed media works are inspired from personal anecdotes and have been curated by art writer and critic, Giridhar Khasnis, in this solo art show. Till July 17, from 3 pm to 7 pm. Tomorrow, children can get their hands dirty at a pottery workshop. Conducted by city-based potter, Palani, it will teach them how to build clay toys and pottery on the wheel.
