Too big for her boots?
Katrina Kaif, who has the biggie Dhoom 3 coming up, has been keeping herself busy trying to evade the media on the topic of beau Ranbir Kapoor. So at the recent Diwali bash thrown by the Bachchans though the two came in the same car they entered the party separately. Reportedly, we hear the two exes of the Khan, Katrina Kaif and Aishwarya Rai who are known to avoid each other at social events in order to keep the awkwardness at bay, have started bonding socially. Apparently Ash personally invited Katrina to the Diwali party. Katrina these days is not too happy being called Sallu’s ‘protégé’. She firmly believes that where she is now – almost at the top of the B-town lady ladder – is all to her own credit. Why do we say so? TheJab Tak Hain Jaan girl now claims that she was signed on before any other actor by Kabir Khan for Ek Tha Tiger (ETT). Is Kat trying to prove a point here?
The simple life
Salman Khan meanwhile has got his hands full. Besides his Big Boss stint, he has started shooting for Sajid Nadiadwala’s Kick, a Telugu remake at Panvel’s ND studios and has an extensive high action schedule till the end of the year. The entire unit will be traveling to and from the venue as it is approximately an hour’s drive from Mumbai. However, Salman and Sajid will be staying at the actor’s favourite farm house in Panvel. Reportedly when he learned that this schedule was starting from Panvel (ND Studios) he convinced Sajid to move to his Panvel farm house for two months. On the expansive property, Salman is usually seen with his entourage and his dogs. Khan has also built a multi speciality gym at the farm house that will also help him with the heavy-duty action sequences. Meanwhile, Khan’s scriptwriter dad, Salim Khan, has gone on record to say that Shah Rukh Khan and his son can never be friends. That comes as a surprise as both the Khans have been evasive about their so-called rivalry.
The Rohit Shetty way
With R…Rajkumar ready for release, Prabhu Deva is already being called the next Rohit Shetty. But he needs one more hit to make it to the Rs 100 crore directors’ hat-trick list. The similarities between the two are striking. Both love blowing up cars (Golmaal series, Chennai Express or Singham and Deva’s Wanted and Rowdy Rathore)! Shetty’s and Deva’s heroes always enter the frame wearing blood smearedvests and proceed to show off their incredible fighting prowess. Both their movies have such memorable dialogues and they love putting funny lyrics into their songs. We are looking forward to R…Rajkumar’s fate at the box office.
Once is enough
The trailor of Shadi Ke Side Effects part 2 is out. The fresh pairing of Farhan Akhtar and Vidya Balan looks interesting. On the topic of Akhtar’s heroines, surprisingly, he is known to be picky and almost never repeats them, be it Prachi Desai (Rock On), Deepika Padukone (Karthik Calling Karthik), Konkona Sen Sharma (Luck By Chance) or Sonam Kapoor (Bhaag Mikha Bhaag). In sister
Zoya Akhtar’s next he is paired with Priyanka Chopra. Plus, there is Jasmeet Ran film with Kareena Kapoor, reportedly a biopic based on Amrita Pritam.
