    Fabelle launches a new range of single origin and gianduja chocolates

    It was just three months ago that ITC Grand Chola introduced us to a whole new world of chocolates courtesy their new brand, Fabelle. With patrons at the 600 plus-room hotel already addicted to the milk chocolate ganache (with butter and fresh cream) and the As You Like It cups of personalised chocolates, now the brand entices us with their single origin bars, gianduja and ganache (apple and cinammon).

    Deepthi Joy, who is the junior sous chef at ITC and currently heading Fabelle, informs us that many expats and in-house guests wished to see more nutty and bar variants in the earlier collection – hence the gianduja, a Turkish variant that is infused with roasted Turkish hazelnuts. “And since we did not have bars in the first collection, we introduced the single origin as bars ,” adds Joy. For a more quirky experience, you can try the  ganache apple and cinammon, which is made form Ghana cocoa and infused with the fruit and spice.

    The Fabelle Single Origins are rich dark chocolates made with exotic cocoa sourced from different cocoa-growing regions across the world. “We make our chocolates at our factory in Bengaluru, where coffee beans are sourced from regions like Madagascar (67 per cent), Ghana (84 per cent), Ecuador (70 per cent), St Domingue (70 per cent), Venezuela (72 per cent),” she reveals, adding that the gianduja is a hot seller at the moment.
