    It’s time to ditch plaid in favour of its cooler and on-trend sibling — gingham

    Many say gingham prints are traditionally American, epitomised by Dorothy’s Wizard of Oz dress. But we say, the simple, timeless check came from the local gumcha. This season, it makes its way on to dresses by Oscar De La Renta and tops by Zara. Here are our picks.

    Feel the blues
    A smart pencil dress is a timeless investment, especially when rendered in a playful gingham print.
