a?Cooking is a lot about joy,a? begins co-founder Mohit Mittal. a?You feel good when you have made a meal yourself, and even better when it is appreciated by others.a? With this in mind, he and partners Xerxes Bodhanwala (who is also executive chef of the Red Fork restaurant) and Vishnu I devised a start-up that would enable anyone to harness the expertise of seasoned chefs, and find fulfilment in their own kitchen. The recipes have been tried and tested by experts, and the portioned ingredients, which are delivered in a cool box, leave little room for error. The team places great emphasis on the quality of these ingredients, with fresh fruits and vegetables sourced from zero-pesticide supplier First Agro, and ingredients like salmon sourced from Norway. There is also a plan to offer antibiotic-free chicken, and trials with local suppliers are currently underway.
