Attakkalari’s Diploma in Movement Arts and Mixed Media is one of the most sought after in the city. Originally meant to be just for one year, it is now a two-year course. After 22 years, the Natya Institute has decided to revamp its Diploma in Choreography. Originally conceptualised by renowned dancer Maya Rao, it is modified to suit the needs of the modern dance world by her daughter, acclaimed Kathak and contemporary artiste, Madhu Nataraj.
