Studio Trioss’ show promises new designers and labels
THE 16th edition of Summer and Festive Collezione Exhibition by Studio Trioss is about to kick off. A platform for 40 hand-picked designers from across the country, it promises to be the shopping address for bridal wear. “This exhibition features ethnic saris and costume jewellery, chic bags, trendy footwear, kids wear and home décor. We are promoting upcoming women entrepreneurs also, who are coming to this exhibition for the first time,” says Sheetal Modi, the organiser.
Designer Shreya from Jaipur is back with her collection of Jaipuri gota patti work on lahariya and mothra print done on saris and salwar suits. City-based designer Ajiz will be showcasing customised palazzos and gowns—made from georgettes and linens—that will be ideal for wedding cocktail parties, while jewellery designer Adan from Mumbai will have a new costume jewellery line featuring jhumkas and neck pieces. And making a comeback after three years is designer Preety Bery, from Kolkata, with traditional suits and Indo-western outfits.
Don’t miss the chocolate offerings from Sheetal Chandak of Chocoholick, who is participating for the first time. The city girl says, “Chocolate bouquets are perfect for weddings and as gifting options.” Shristy Poddar of Little Chef will also have her eggless homemade baked goods on sale. In between all the shopping, stop by the food court for munchies.
