Celebrity action and some good old partying marks this weeka��s update
ENTREPRENEURS Vikram and Bina Mehta opened a new showroom of Prakash Lights with an exclusive range in Gachibowli financial district. Much like their lights, the couple glowed as gracious hosts at the party held at Trident later that day. Actress, producer and lifestyle connoisseur Lakshmi Manchu inaugurated the showroom while young star Rakul Preet Singh added her bit with her presence. The guest list had the citya��s top architects, interior designers, socialites and the Mehta khandaan.
Meanwhile, Hyderabad turned into a little Ahmedabad, or Amdavaad as they call it in Gujarat, during the Navratris with the Dandiya action. Dildar Dandiya at Mallika Gardens had great music, crowd, food and prizes too. Of course, partygoers were more interested in seeing the beautiful couples who won great prizes for non-stop player, Dildar queen, group performances etc. One got to watch stars of Hindi soaps teach a step or two to the Hyderabadis.
Elsewhere, at Taj Krishna, jeweller, socialite and businesswoman Aakanksha Kedia Tolasariya played gracious host to her 200 friends. The lady shone in beautiful blue. The music lover that she is, she had roped in Indian Idol Tushar to mesmerise her guests with his numbers.
