These cocktails comprising fine malts will raise your spirits

AFTER shutting down for an overhaul, the Lobby Lounge Bar at Taj Banjara has opened with revamped interiors and a fresh new menu for the cocktails. The premium malts from the Highland, Speyside and Islay regions of Scotland will be cherished by the connoisseurs.
The spruced up menu uses fresher ingredients and herbs for garnishing. The new segment that has been introduced, titled Trails of Luxury infuses high-end liquor such as Johnnie Walker Gold Label, Ciroc Vodka, and Tanqueray.
The cocktail that piqued our curiosity is called Legacy at Banjara 34. It comprises Johnnie Walker Double Black, freshly chopped ginger, jaggery syrup, lemon juice and soda. Soumyadeep Bhattacharya, the F&B Manager, who concocted this cocktail says, “It’s a unique concoction with a hint of indian spices, sweetness and little amount of acidity. The addition of egg white to the cocktail makes it extremely light on the palate.” That apart Golden Hunter and Sunny Side seem like the more interesting ones on the menu.
