CIA officer Evelyn Salt (Jolie) is highly respected at work. But her world collapses when a Russian spy accuses her of being a double agent, planning to assassinate the Russian president. The spy manages to escape and, in the ensuing confusion, Salt goes on the run—after she realises her colleagues want to detain her. Though she tries to prove her innocence, her actions prove otherwise and her past in the Soviet Union only makes matters worse. Salt’s character is named after the Strategic Arms Limitation Talks held in 1969 and 1979, between USA and Soviet Union, during the Cold War.

The story revolves around nine people dealing with matters of the heart. The focus is on Gigi Haim (Goodwin), a young woman in search of her Prince Charming, who always gets mixed signals from the men she dates. When a date, estate agent Conor Barry (Connolly), doesn’t call her back, she decides to surprise him at his favourite bar. But there, she befriends the owner, Alex (Justin Long), who helps her interpret the signs men give out. Jennifer Aniston has 20 minutes of screen time in the movie.
Shor in the City (Crime/Drama),

The movie revolves around five characters in Mumbai, who are trying to survive in the city. Like NRI Abhay (Ramamurthy) who returns to India to start a business, but is threatened by a local gang; Tilak (Kapoor), a bootlegger who steals from passengers on public transport and sells the goods; and Sawan (Sundeep Kishan) a cricketer who needs Rs 10 lakh to get into the under-22 cricket team. Things take a turn when Tilak finds guns in a bag. The film was titled Shor, but was changed after Manoj Kumar refused to part with his copyrighted title.
