This is a story about a young woman, Isabella (Penélope Cruz), from Brazil who suffers from motion sickness, but is a gifted cook.Frustrated by this, her husband Toninho (Murilo Benício) ends up cheating on her. A disappointed Isabella moves to San Francisco to live with her cross dresser friend, Monica. There she becomes a popular chef and a television presenter. Her husband follows her to find out that she has moved on. Interior shots of San Francisco were shot in Brazil using sets.

Bob Wilton (Ewan McGregor), a reporter, tries to get over his failed marriage by throwing himself into war stories. He gets more than he bargained for when he meets Special Forces agent Lyn Cassady (George Clooney) who is part of a psychic military group trying to end war as we know it. The founder of the military unit has gone missing. Soon Bob realises everyone is not on the same mission.The film produced by Clooney’s company Smokehouse Pictures, premiered at the 66th Venice.

A New York city detective, Billy Taggart (Mark Wahlberg), is arrested for the murder of a rapist. But he is declared guilt free. Seven years later, his private detective business is on the verge of bankruptcy. The mayor (Russell Crowe) calls him to investigate his wife as he doubts her of having an affair. This in turn leads to the investigation of another murder. As one of the producers, Wahlberg offered the role of Billy to Michael Fassbender. But when he declined, Wahlberg ended up
playing the part himself.

Hal (Jack Black) dates only good looking women. But one day he meets a spiritual guru who hypnotises him so that he can only see the inner good of women. He meets a 300-pound woman, Rosemary (Gwyneth Paltrow) whom he can see only as a nice human being. But will their romance last after the guru’s hypnotism wears off? After getting into her costume for the role, Paltrow walked around in public for a while. No one recognised her. She used the reactions she got to understand her character better.
