A contemporary clothing brand PostFold gives you a complete wardrobe from morning to evening.
WORKING professionals might be all too familiar with the feeling of being inadequately dressed for those after-work drinks, evening catch-ups with friends, or even the odd date they’ve been looking forward to. That’s where Gurgaon-based Postfold.com, a new label exclusively for ‘transition’ wear, comes handy. Founded by Ashish Gurnani and Ashray Thatai, it has expertly-crafted clothes designed for the boardroom, the neighbourhood pub and everything in between.
“There is an urgent need for clothes that bridge the gap between office and evening wear. And with the mushrooming of startups, work culture has gone through a change,” shares Gurnani, who met his partner Thatai at Boston University.
Their latest spring summer collection is divided into three — Monochromatic (more formal), Traveller (great for a vacation or business trip) and Nostalgic Boho (everyday). Offering men a comprehensive collection of casual and formal shirts, apart from polos and jackets, the women’s section features dresses, skirts, jumpsuits, shirts and shrugs. The colours are subdued and classy, from light blue to coral. Promising both comfort and quality, they use Supima cotton sourced from America. “Only about three per cent of the world uses this. It is special because the cotton fibres are extra long,” explains Thatai. The duo soon hopes to set up a brick-and-mortar store, too. From Rs 600. Details: postfold.com
