From leather bags to a 19 kg soundbar, Porsche Design store at the RGIA will surely make you wish for more
Fashion apparel has a new address in Hyderabad. Porsche Design openeds its store at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport. Second outlet in the country’s airport retail, the German brand marks the first store of the brand in the city. The store beckons all travellers as it is located in the heart of domestic security hold area of the airport.
Hyderabad airport records 34,000 footfalls every day. The 42 sq.mt showroom houses the German brand’s travel bags, leather accessories, t-shirts, handbags, shoes, hats, eyewear, watches, wallets and other apparel.
In the luggage section, the store has different categories of products. Small luggage, trolley bags, one-nighters, messenger bags, etc. Primarily made in leather, the brand focuses on the productivity and functionality of its goods.
The store also has Titanium watches and their signature interchangeable lens sunglasses. “These watches and sunglasses are light, strong, sweat-free so more hygienic. Unlike other metals, this metal does not cause any allergy,” says Dharmender Parmar, business development manager, Bommidala Enterprises, which has the partnered with the luxury brand.
The outlet also has writing tools, leather shoes, fashion accessories, business travel accessories, sound and audio devices, hard drive and storage devices, reading glasses, and headphones. Besides this, one can also find accessories and products related to tennis, gym, running and golf, not to mention Porsche timepieces.
Under the writing tools, the Porsche pens are laser cut products. Another section in the store is dedicated to the leather suits and different business fashion accessories. The outlet also have stocks for women which are hand stitched with fine Italian leather. Porsche Design is not just an outlet for fashion accessories. It also houses the exclusive Porsche Shisha 2.0. The 73.5 cm long pot is made with aluminium and mouth-blown glass. The Shisha has always been in demand and this sleek piece costs `1,15,000.
The store would be adding the famous Porsche 911 Soundbar which is actually made with the Porsche 911 GT3 exhaust system. The 200 watt twin exhaust weighs around 19 kg and would cost `2,00,000. It also has money clippers, pouches and normal wallets in leather starting from `3,600 – `54,000 and belts for men and women made in Italian leather ranging from Rs 3,000 – Rs 15,000.
