A star gets creative, a musician with a difference and an epic trilogy is concluded

    Twist in the tale
With the Ice Bucket Challenge, which
    raises awareness and money for
    Amyo-trophic Lateral Sclerosis
    (ALS), a neuro-degenerative disorder,Untitled-31
going viral, Charlie Sheen takes a
    different approach. While everyone
from Mark Zuckerberg to Bill Gates,
and Oprah volunteered to get doused
with a bucket of ice, Sheen showers
himself with USD 10,000 instead – his
donation to the cause. He then nominates
    John Cryer, Ashton Kutcher
and Chuck Lorre to do what he did.
    Piping down
    Forget drums, guitars and piano,
Jake, better known to YouTube trollers
as The Pipe Guy, is a PVC, xylophone
    and percussionist from
    Adelaide, Australia. This video, on
his channel called Pipe Guy, sees
him setting up in the middle of the
city centre for a session of busking
    — on PVC pipes. With a pair of flipflops,
    he performs a mind-blowing
techno, house and trance show on
    his homemade PVC pipe instrument
    wowing the audience who gathered.
    Grand finale
    Amassing over 14 million hits
already, and only on the official
YouTube channel, the trailer for the
third installment of The Hobbit is
    creating tremendous waves. The
Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies
is expected to end the fantasy trilogy,
with a very Lord of the Rings: Return
Of The King sort of feel to it. While
more grim and sombre than what
might be in store, it is certainly
    going to get fans excited.
