Limelite promises pampered hands and feet with their argan oil mani-pedis

Moroccan seems to be the flavour of the season. Hot on the heels of an argan oil facial (featured here on July 11), Limelite Salon and Spa has introduced their exclusive argan oil-based organic manicures and pedicures.

In varieties like Green Tea, Mango, Choco-Honey, Moonbeam and Lavender, they cover everything from dehydrated skin to tan lightening. “All treatments incorporate argan oil — rich in anti-oxidants, in the cleanser, scrub, cream and mask,” says Nandhini Raju, the brand trainer.

Since I was in the mood for some aroma therapy, I chose the Lavender mani-pedi (`650 and `900 respectively). A long soak in their aqua jet foot bath set the mood for a very relaxing 45-minutes.

A therapist, specially recommended for her thoroughness, cleansed and scrubbed away both dead skin and dust of the road before she got down to the details of cuticles and nail care. What I liked was how she didn’t rush through anything. The massage was relaxing as she worked away the kinks and then left me, magazine in hand, as the pack did its work.

While I got my 40-minute manicure a little later, you can ask that it be done simultaneously. “All who have done it have said they felt a great difference in softness and brightness of skin,” says Raju, adding that while women love mango and choco-honey, men may prefer green tea.

Rs. 350 upwards. At Vittal Mallya Road. Details: 22103763
