    Overseas Women’s Club, Nov 29
    Around 28 charities from the city are expected to participate in this year’s edition of the Overseas Women’s  Club’s annual Christmas bazaar. Expect a carnival of sorts with stalls offering Christmas-themed home decor like tree ornaments, stars, framed festive verses, cushion covers, bedspreads, and much more. The bake sale has home-made goodies by the members of the club along with the JW Marriott and Ritz Carlton participating. Complete with little elves handing out candy cane and sweet treats, and school choirs keeping the crowd entertained with carols, this one is sure to get you in the mood for Christmas.     The fifth edition of The Handmade Collective’s A 100 Hands is based on the theme ‘poetry’. Over 70 artisans will put out their handmade products, which include traditional crafts with contemporary designs, garments, accessories, home decor, garden essentials, toys, gifts and gourmet food. Sourced from various parts of the country, watch out for a National Award-winning master craftsmen and his family traditions of pashmina with sozni embroidery, block printing, sanjhi paper-cutting and kalamkari apart from modern karigaars who create khadi products, Chanapatna art, and more.     Completely conceptualised and designed by Wendy Dickson, the annual April Rose sale is usually sold out withina few hours, so make sure you’re there early. On offer will be cute Christmas-themed cushion covers, tea towels, napkins, candles, tree ornaments, all designed by Dickson herself and also a range of gourmet jams, marmalades and preserves to add to your decadent Christmas feast.     The club’s Christmas bazaar goes on for five days. The premises is transformed into a festive wonderland, perfect for some shopping, browsing and catching up with close ones.     United Charities Bazaar, Dec 6
    Bringing together over 50 charities under one roof, the United Charities Bazaar will spoil you for choice. Participating charities include All India Anglo-Indian Association, Andrews Rehab Trust, Catholic Women’s League, Cheshire Home, CSI Women’s fellowship and YWCA Bangalore City. The bazaar will include everything from handicrafts, table linens, garments, candles and jewellery to home-made pickles and jams, baked goods, old books and even records.
