    Forever 21 makes a debut on Myntra, with its winter line

    From layered LBDs to faux fur coats, Forever 21, the fifth largest fashion retailer in the US, debuts its winter collection on Myntra. Showcasing an array of casual, party, active and sleepwear, along with intimates, the fast fashion brand is concentrating on colourful prints and patterns. Expect to see a lot of jewel tones, geometric prints and solids. Forever 21 stands out on Myntra with its intimate wear and sleepwear collection that other high street brands do not offer. “It caters to women, especially college goers and young working professionals,” says Gunjan Soni, CMO and Myntra’s head of international brands business. A rust red shift dress with cut-out details and a crushed effect caught our eye. Perfect for a day out with friends, it’s pocket-friendly at Rs 1,539. The collection also has great choices for a date night. The tailored black dress, sleeveless and with asymmetrical hem, is a head-turner. The app-only brand, which was recently in the news for relaunching its mobile site, operates in India through a joint venture with DLF Brands. Which is good news for us because Forever 21 previously had only limited success, with stores present in Delhi, Bengaluru and Mumbai only. The designs come in polyester, cotton, acrylic and wool.
