We take a look at celebrities engaging in some silly and nasty fights on Twitter
While Rihanna and Charlie Sheen have always been embroiled in some sort of controversy, separately of course. One wouldn’t expect the two to get into a serious spat. When Sheen’s former fiancée, Brett Rossi, a huge fan of the singer wanted to meet her as they were in the same restaurant—Rihanna was not willing. Sheen went on to say nasty things about Rihanna. He even resorted to using the TwitLonger app that allows users to share long messages on Twitter. In retaliation, Rihanna changed her Twitter banner to a photo of her signing an autograph for a fan with Charlie Sheen’s face super imposed on top. She also tweeted “If that old queen don’t get ha diapers out of a bunch…” Now this is silly, but the pop star does throw some serious shade.

They have used their music, high profile interviews and social media to bash each other up. The feud that raged through 2014 is still on. Taylor Swift’s new video, Bad Blood, is a single from her album 1989, and is based on her turbulent relationship with the Dark Horse singer, Katy Perry. “For years, I was never
sure if we were friends or not,’’ Swift said during a Rolling Stone interview, last year. ‘‘She would come up to me at award shows and say something and walk away, and I would be like, ‘Are we friends, or did she just give me the harshest insult of my life?’”
According to Swift, Perry even made a business blunder. “She basically tried to sabotage an entire arena tour. She hired a bunch of people out from under me. So now I have to avoid her. It’s awkward, and I don’t like it,” complained Swift. To which Perry retaliated with just one Tweet, “Watch out for the Regina George in sheep’s clothing,” referring to the 2004 comedy from Mean Girls.
Rappers Iggy Azalea and Snoop Dogg had a mistunderstanding and they took it to Twitter and Instagram. The Doggfather made fun of the Fancy singer’s appearance by posting a series of memes. This led to both of them trading harsh messages on Twitter. However, after all of that, Azalea deleted most of her tweets because she did not want the nastiness to remain on her profile. We think that they should make use of all the publicity and work on an album together.
Three vs one
Rebecca Black has always wanted to work with Justin Bieber. She has even made flirtatious remarks about Bieber in interviews. But when the Friday singer was compared to Demi Lovato in the media, and even rumored to become the new face of Disney, it didn’t go well with singers Bieber, Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato. They retaliated with some inside tweets like, “I miss you because apparently we’re one in the same,” said Lovato. While taking a dig at Black’s song, Bieber said, “Sunday comes after Saturday? Weird.” Gomez remembered her days at Disney and said, “hahaha flashback!! Oh, good times.” Black’s chances of working with
Bieber now look bleak indeed.
The tongue tale
Here we get downright nasty. Singer Miley Cyrus is on the war path with pop star, Katy Perry, after the latter made comments about Miley’s tongue on television. The 22-year-old Can’t Be Tamed singer took to Twitter and made a statement saying, “Girl if you’re worried about where tongues have been, good thing that your ex boo is your EX BOO because we all know where that [has] been.’’ This after Perry made a comment during an Australian television appearance and mentioned that she didn’t want that friendly kiss from Cyrus because she didn’t know where hers had been. All this happened last year, when Perry had just broken up with John Mayer because of trust issues. Whose side are you on?
