Taking on Tamil
Debuting in the film Konjam Veyil Konjam Mazhai, Ansiba got to play Mohanlal’s teen daughter in the Malayalam movie, Drishyam — an experience she cherishes. “I was very nervous and it was Lal sir’s down to earth manner that put me at ease,” she reminisces. Ansiba has since signed a lot of Malayalam films. “Once they are completed I will concentrate on Tamil,” she adds. Her next Tamil release is Paakkanam Pol Irukku, where she plays a bubbly city girl who returns to her village.
Elated is Vaibhav at the response he has been getting for his portrayal of the guy harassed by a ghost in Hello, Naan Pei Pesuran. On the floors is an untitled film by the Kappal team, directed by an assistant of Mysskin. But what excites the actor is that he is the new entrant in Venkat Prabhu’s sequel to Chennai 600028. “I was not a part of the earlier version. It’s more a ‘boys team’ and it’s fun working with the lot”, says Vaibhav who has just started shooting for it.
