After the appreciation he garnered for Eeram, a supernatural-revenge thriller, director Arivazhagan is on to his new venture Vallinam. This time it’s the sports field he centres on. Nakul is seen playing the lead role of a basketball player. The actor trained and mastered the basic nuances of the game before the shoot, impressing his director. Nakul does need a career boosting venture. Vallinam might just be that film.
Karthi’s recent releases haven’t exactly matched expectations. But the actor is banking on his Diwali release All in All Azhaguraja. Karthi places great confidence on his director M Rajesh , whose earlier films Oru Kal Oru Kannadi and Boss Engira Bhaskaran were laugh riots. “It will be a rollicking fun ride from beginning to end, like Rajesh’s earlier films,” says Karthi confidently.
Here’s hoping he’s right.
“Everyone told me it would be difficult to convert this theme into a movie. But I had the confidence that I could and went ahead with it,” says Selvargahavan about his next release Irandaam Ulagam. Arya and Anushka play dual roles in the film. But it won’t be another Time Machine or Back to the Future assures the ace director. Like his earlier films, this one too is awaited with much anticipation.
