Andhadhi is gearing up for a May-end. The film, produced and directed by Ramesh Venkatraman, an alumnus of Rajeev Menon’s Film Institute, stars Arjun Vijayraghavan, Bhargav and Anjana Keerthi. It explores the journey of two men—a cop and an NRI—and how the duo, each in his own way, overcomes the hurdles that stand in the way of his goal.
Music composer-actor Vijay Antony’s third ‘heroic’ venture, India Pakistan, is all set to hit theatres today. The film is his solo home production, unlike his earlier two films which had him as a co-producer. With debutant director Anandraj helming the breezy entertainer, Sushma debuts as the heroine. “Unlike my earlier, intense, action-centric roles, this one will showcase me in a different light,” says Antony.
Daniel Balaji is excited about the positive response he’s been receiving for his performance in Vai Raja Vai. His body language and expressions had brought Randhe, the kingpin of the betting racket, to life. He says, “The response of the audience to my character is overwhelming.” The actor has been getting some good offers, but he says he is currently concentrating on winding up his commitments in Kannada films.
