The wait is over
For STR fans, it’s reassuring news. The much-awaited and delayed Simbu-Hansika starrer, Vaalu, is releasing shortly. The film, directed by debutant Vijay Chander, is about a middle-class boy who falls in love and the repercussions on the family. “It will be a full-fledged entertainer with romance, humour, family sentiment and action woven in. It will be a treat for Simbu’s fans,”promises Chander.
Living the dream
“My dream has come true at the age of 60,” says Satyaraj with a laugh. Elaborating, he adds that it was his long-time desire to play a character in a fantasy-period film. And after 38 years in the industry, it finally materialised through Baahubali. “I feel proud to be part of the film and all the credit goes to (director)Rajamouli,” he adds. The actor has been garnering praise for his portrayal of Kattappa, a slave loyal to the crown.
