Birthday parties, FLO’s change of guard and a new restaurant added coolness to the blazing week
On a Roll
It was a frenzied week of birthdays, change of guard and launches. The inauguration of Tikki Shack brought in the best and jovial set of Hyderabadis together. Owner Ajay, a confident and successful entrepreneur, wore a eased denim paired up with the blue and seemed to be sending the message loud and clear that sky is the limit.
The city also saw enthusiasts coming in for the launch of Wonder La – Amusement and Water Park. The change of guard of Ficci Ladies Organization at Park Hyatt had Sadhvi Bhagwati sharing the simple principles of happiness. Sona, city’s well-known architect was dressed for the occasion in a drape with lotus imprinted all over – reflecting a sense of wisdom, purity with a sense of stillness.
The Kakatiya Ladies Club annual Oscar event was received with excitement by the better halves of the members too. Radhika and Darpan complemented each other with a sensual netted, embroidered gown and the smart look of a suit. Namita, in a blue embroidered dress, was nothing less than a mindful creation of an artist with great taste.
Meanwhile Manya’s birthday bash at the Hyderabad Café had a mix of friends and family. Dressed in a peach ethnic attire, she stood a great example of how age is just a number. Dhavani, the birthday girl in a daring red flowing dress was indeed a bundle of charm. Sonal, in a white dress paired up with a black neck piece, was beauty and elegance personified and stole the at the birthday bash.
Madhavi’s birthday bash at Hard Rock Café had friends from different corners of the city pouring in. If age is to be measured by the number of friends you have, Madhavi will scale up to being ageless.
Summer Tip: Water collected through rain harvesting in one monsoon can suffice your family’s water requirement for one year water.
