Old-school Christmas with Santa, cookies and carols at JW Marriott

Santa Claus is indeed coming to town. And he’s making a pit-stop at JW Marriott for kids who’ve been good this year. The Fairtytale Christmas Carnival is a strictly kids-only do with food, games and carol singing.

While your little tyke isn’t busy zooming around on Santa’s sleigh or greeting Frosty the Snowman, he could be knocking down the ice castle with all his might. For the little princess, reindeer races or the good old ‘pin the reindeer’s’ nose might be fun before everyone settles in for a cookie decorating masterclass with chef Jolly who has a way with kids and was a judge on the Junior MasterChef India reality show.

If baking isn’t your child’s forte, then perhaps a bit of crafts might be more suited with classes on making personalised greeting cards for family and friends using plenty of glitter, cut-outs, colours and pop-ups. Then, when the tots are run a bit low on energy, a Christmas special puppet show should pep them up, followed by a performance and sing-along by the Freedom’s Price band.
Of course, chef Jolly won’t let the children go home hungry so there’ll be a lavish spread. “The kids can savor goodies like Christmas cakes, tarts and all-time favourites like French fries, lollipops, cotton candy and mini burgers. Plus a Lollipop tree for them to pick candy off and a photo session of your little one with Santa and his elves and reindeer!

At Vittal Mallya Road.
