    Rocky Handsomersvp1
    Director: Nishikant Kamat
    Cast: John Abraham, Diya Chalwad
Kamath’s latest film packs in stylised action sequences, but fails in the story, and characterisation. It follows the life of Kabir Ahlawat (Abraham), who runs a pawn shop in Goa. All hell breaks loose when his four-year-old neighbour Nayomi (Chalwad) is kidnapped. This brings forth the drug mafia ruining the beach state. Ahlawat, who already has a terrible past, goes on a rampage to kill the menacing lot. It’s here that we stop taking the film seriously. Abraham’s acting takes a backseat amid the action. Avoid it. — T IFilmSnip3

    Kung Fu Panda 3
Directors: Alessandro Carloni & Jennifer Yuh
Cast: Jack Black, Bryan Cranston, Agelina Jolie
After the lovable Po finds his biological father, the two embark on an exciting journey to a ‘secret panda paradise’, inhabited by a large number of funny pandas. But when he learns that the evil Kai is slowly defeating Kung Fu masters across China, he decides to train the entire village of clumsy and fun loving pandas to take him down. With great visual effects, sound effects and background score, this one sure is a family entertainer. — T I

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice
    Director: Zack Snyder
Cast: Ben Affleck, Henry Caville, Jesse Eisenberg
Getting used to Affleck as Batman was one thing, but to deal with a script that is as weak as bad coffee was quite another. In Dawn of Justice, the two superheroes have a serious face off, what with neither of them happy with the other’s methods of saving the world. But it’s hamming champ Lex Luthor (Eisenberg) they need to worry about. The two then forget their worries, and join hands. Yawn! —PN
