Director: Abhishek Sharma
Cast: Anupam Kher, Annu Kapoor, Piyush Mishra, Akshay Kumar,
Based on the 1982 movie of the same name, the story is about three old men who are desparate for action in their lives. They meet Aahana (Haydon) in Mauritius, who uses them to reach her favourite superstar, Akshay Kumar. The hilarious bits only come from Akshay Kumar’s self-parody. The song placement is poor and the climax is way too long.

Director: Christopher Nolan
Cast: Matthew McConaughey
Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain
Nolan repeats his mastery in this intergalactic space thriller. Cooper (McConaughey), Brand (Hathaway) and a team of scientists traverse the galaxy and beyond in search of a new home for humans. Haunting and emotional, thanks to splendid acting by McConaughey and Chastain, who plays his daughter Murph, it will leave you in tears
Cast: Arjun, Surveen Chawla
It’s all about reaching quality education to the lowest denominator by nationalising private schools. The first half has some watchable moments. But in the second, the screenplay takes a down slide. More interesting than Arjun the writer-director, is his screen presence as the karate master who fights for a cause. Arjun tackles his role with cool intensity and the action king is a delight to watch as he packs a powerful punch for his tormentors. If only his screenplay had matched the action and the lofty message!
