    If your New Year’s resolution included a fitness goal in 2016, Republic Day is a good time to strengthen that resolve.     4Members of Bindu Art School will be exhibiting their water colour paintings on cotton embossed paper at DakshinaChitra from tomorrow. The school is a forum that strives to attain financial independence for its members, who were or are affected by leprosy. The programme will start with a welcome speech by the co-founder of the school, Padma Venkataraman, and inauguration by Deborah Thiagarajan, president, DakshinaChitra.     5Kiss your Monday blues away with the stirring sounds of a saxophone as Italian alto sax player, Gianni Denitto performs on January 25, in Pondicherry. Since 2013, Denitto has been travelling, covering destinations like Beijing, Perth and Mumbai, performing at jazz concerts, conducting masterclasses and mixing electronics with his solo saxophone performances.
