More than 30 established and upcoming
artists from India displayed their works in the exhibition Kala for Vidya, held recently. Organised to promote art in its
historical, cultural, and social contexts, the show was jointly organised by the hotel, and Rotary Club of Bangalore.
The second season of the The Great Grover Wine and
Performing Arts Festival was a big success. Guests were treated to an eclectic mix of music, art and fine cuisine, and yes, heritage wines from Grover Zampa Vineyards.
It was a special Saturday as Hoegaarden hosted an exotic brunch for women at this restaurant. The place was dressed up in white and tangerine, as flair bartender Ami Shroff mixed some mean beer cocktails. Chef Manu Chandra put together a delectable menu, which clearly delighted the ladies.
Hidesign launched its Icon Collection to mark the brand’s completion of 38 years. The collection comprises 11 of the brand’s earliest bags, handpicked by its president Dilip Kapur. A large format coffee table book that traces the origins of the brand was also unveiled, as well as a photo-exhibition of some of Hidesign’s 30-year-old museum pieces.
