‘Easter Market’ held at the The Collection recently was quite a hit. People were seen scanning the flea market and stalls set up by 16 popular cafes and restaurants in the city, when not digging into lip-smacking food from the food trucks. Entertainment included a street magic show, gigs, and beat boxing. The Easter Egg Hunt was undoubtedly the highlight of the event.
Vikram Hospital completed its fifth anniversary recently, and announced the launch of Alambana Medical Foundation to mark the occasion. At the venue, artist Vilas Nayak painted a giant portrait of Mother Teresa in seven minutes for charity. Theatre veteran Girish Karnad was also spotted at the launch of the foundation, which aims to treat people from economically weaker sections of the society.
The opening of H&M’s first store in Bengaluru was the talk of the town last week. More than 600 shoppers queued up early in the morning in front of the 30,000-square-feet store. A few lucky ones bagged gift cards and goodie bags. Standup comedian Danish Sait, and a dance performance by the H&M staff added to the excitement.
