Bollywood gets virtually spoofed and leaves you in splits

Whether you have suffered through Sajid Khan’s Humshakals or saved yourself the ordeal, this video Enough Is Enough Sajid Khan, sees Culture Machine and Schitz En Giggles team up for a mock session. Taking you through the five stages of grief (denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance) with respect to the film, the comedy clip is full of gems like “My grandfather’s funeral was funnier than the film”.

Those who endured the film will understand the sentiments of co-founder of Culture Machine, Sameer Pittalwala. “This is part catharsis and part payback for having lost a few precious hours of our life to inanity. A tribute to all the kindred spirits who suffered brain damage due to prolonged cinematic exposure to Humshakals,” says the creator.

But it’s not just bad movies that get spoofed online. The recent Two States was well received by audiences, but Shudh Desi Endings (known for their alter ending videos similar to How It Should Have Ended) has a hilarious animated version. Adding a touch of reality by introducing Saif Ali Khan to match Amrita Singh’s character, it highlights the level of exaggeration and stereotyping in the film with a big dose of tongue-in-cheek and ‘zara hatke’ humour. Catch their Dhoom 3 and Heropanti mockathon (called Bhidupanti) too .

Hyderabad-based White Elephant production joins the parody club with videos that mostly compare contrasting films —  Bhaag Milkha Bhaag to Shaadi Ke Side Effects in a video that is all about melodramatic films doing well at the Box Office while more intelligent films like the one on Milkha Singh go slightly under-appreciated. Do visit the All India Bakchod YouTube page for edgy comedy which goes from politically incorrect film spoofs to fictional actor and actress interviews. The content is updated by co-founders and comedians Gursimran Khamba, Tanmay Bhat, Abish Mathew, Rohan Joshi and Ashish Shakya and is sure to leave you helpless with laughter.
