Based on the true story of the French high-wire artiste Philippe Petit (Gordon-Levitt), it revolves around a daredevil stunt he wants to perform—to walk between the twin towers of the World Trade Centre in New York. He approaches Papa Rudy (Kingsley), his mentor, to teach him the ropes of high-wire walking. And then he takes the stunt’s risk quotient up a few notches by rejecting any safety measures.
