    Baby’s day out
    Save the date this Children’s Day as a movie screening awaits all the young ones. Cinema Rendezvous will organise a cinematic treat on November 14 at the Russian Cultural Center, Kasturi Ranga Road. The NeverEnding Story, a movie about a trouble ridden boy who finds solace in a mysterious book, will be screened at 10 am after which a discussion with J Vignesh and V Ramesh, of Kaaka Muttai fame, will follow.     Watch Dearest (an old man’s journey to scatter his wife’s ashes in Hirado), Fruits of Faith (revolves around the hardships of a farmer) and Friends Naki on the Monster Island (the story of friendship between Kotake and monsters) and three other movies at the Japanese Film Festival. Jointly organised by Consulate-General of Japan in Chennai, The Japan Foundation, Indo Cine Appreciation Foundation and The Madras Film Society, it will be held between November 19 and 22 at MM Preview Theater, T Nagar.
