The film takes up the serious issue of blood theft that is rife in Haryana and other parts of the NCR. After his girlfriend breaks up with him because of his meagre pay package, Rajesh (Oberoi) joins hand with Shankar (Hooda), who runs an illegal blood back, to make quick money.
Did you know: Hooda was born, and brought up in Rohtak in Haryana. But he admitted in an interview that delivering dialogues in the Haryanvi dialect didn’t come that easy. After the first day of shooting, he called up his friends, and family, and talked with them in Haryanvi to get back the hang of it.
