His first flick of the year, Ram Charan finds himself playing the lead in the movie Dhruva. A remake of hit Tamil action-thriller, Thani Oruvan, the Telugu actor dons the lead role, with Rakul Preet as his lead lady. Ram Charan plays IPS officer Dhurva who looks to take down the country’s most corrupt scientist, Siddharth Abhimanyu, with Arvind Swamy reprising his role.
Did you know: Hiphop Tamizha, who composed the original score for the Tamil thriller, makes his foray into Telugu cinema with this soundtrack.

A major gig for the actor, Ma Ka Pa Anand will play the lead role in debutant director Vijayabhaskar’s movie Atti.
Set in North Madras, this commercial flick is out and out comedy, where the hero (Anand) plays a gaana singer. Ashmita (of Veeram fame) also stars in the movie along with veteran actor Ramki, Rajendran and Yogi Babu.
Did you know: Ma Ka Pa signed the film in July 2014 before the release of his first acting venture. The actor has also sung one of the three
gaanas in the movie.
