Iranian Film Festival
November 27-29, Russian Centre of Science and Culture
INDO Cine Appreciation Foundation in association with Culture House of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Mumbai, are organising an Iranian Film Festival from November 27-29 at the Russian Centre of Science and Culture.
Judai (Dir: Asghar Faradi) is about a married couple, Nader and Simin. The latter prefers to live abroad to provide better opportunities for their only daughter Termeh. However, Nader wants to stay in Iran and take care of his father. The Blue silky path (Dir: Mohammad Bozorgnia) is about Soleiman Siraf who is the first sailor to cross the Indian Ocean to China. Punishment (Dir: Hasan Fathi) is a thriller and Solomon’s Country (Dir: Shahriar Bahraini ) is about King Solomon and his son King David’s search for the ideal kingdom.
