On being back on set
It was wonderful to reunite with the rest of the cast members. This year, we have a bunch of new inmates, and it was fun getting to know some of the newer actresses. I had an exciting time reading the scripts for every episode. This season has a bit more zing to it than others.
Tell us more about the new characters
Iad love to tell you more, but all I can say is that there are a lot of colourful characters this season. Youall either love them or love to hate them.
What to expect from the season
With a group of new inmates, youall see what happens when you put a people with contrasting personalities in a small space. There continues to be tensions between inmates and tensions between the guards. Itas going to be intense.
Pousseyas relationship with Taystee
They are like sisters who go through different stages in their relationship. Itas a relationship between two women who love each other as sisters.
Whatas it like on set
Everyday is funny. We make up songs and games. I remember this one time, me and Vicky Jeudy (who plays Janae Watson), tried to have a push up contest. But both of us were so weak, it ended in a tie.
Iam in a play called Daphneas Dive. Iam also working on two movies, 37 and Nerve.
On having fans the world over
It is scary sometimes, that people all over the world are watching. But itas also empowering and fuels us to do better.
Issues the season deals with AThe problem of overcrowding in prisons and how to survive on your own.
