Get a taste of big bikes at exotic getaways with Motoziel and Edelweiss Bike Travel.
Waiting to earn enough to afford your first-ever ‘big’ motorcycle and go on your first major bike ride can be heartbreaking. But not owning a performance machine is not an excuse anymore, thanks to companies like Motoziel. The Indian motorcycling company has been organising rides across the country, to great locations like Ladakh and Rajasthan. They have some rather exotic machinery on their fleet, too. Riders can choose from a range of Harley-Davidsons, Ducatis, Triumphs, BMWs, Hondas, Suzukis and Kawasakis.
Now with their recent joint venture with Edelweiss Bike Travel, an international brand that offers similar services, they’re taking the motorcycle tours abroad. The Motoziel-Edelweiss collaboration will be arranging guided motorcycle tours in over 10 countries. “Motorcycle enthusiasts and tourists seeking big bike travel experience can now opt for a bike of their choice, an available tour package or customise it as per their preference and enjoy the tour under the guidance of international experts,” says Kalyan Mazumder, who heads Motoziel. The guided tours will be mostly focussed on neighbouring countries like Nepal, Bhutan, Myanmar, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. As Edelweiss Bike Travel’s head, Rainer Buck, puts it, “There is immense potential in the motorcycle tourism sector in India and its neighboring countries and we are aiming at the untapped market opportunity.” For their Indian tours, the bikes available will be the Harley Davidson 883, Ducati Scrambler and Triumph Bonneville T100 and Royal Enfields.
