This Saturday, participate in storytelling sessions at the Phoenix Arena’s second season of Tale Telling Troupe. With the stated aim of tackling stage fear, the event offers a platform for those who aspire to become powerful orators. One can go on stage with any story – be it a grandmother’s tale or a personal spin on current affairs. The stage is open for all. The organisers will focus more on storytelling techniques and not how to write them. Every participant gets 10 minutes to finish his or her narration. Entry: Rs 100 per head.

Known as the biggest EDM fest in India, DMF ’16 is happening at Mawlydep, Shillong, this year. One of the most anticipated movies of this season, Dangal, releases today. The film is based on Mahavir Singh Phogat, a senior Olympics coach. The biographical sports drama has Aamir Khan in the lead, along with Sakshi Tanwar, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Sanya Malhotra and Rajkummar Rao.
