Visiting panic town

As part of International Children’s Film Festival, a French movie A town called Panic will be showcased at 9.30 am at Prasads IMAX (Screen III). The movie is about three plastic toys named Horse, Indian and Cowboy. They manage to discover underwater creatures and the story takes a turn. There will be English subtitles. An opportunity for shutterbugs to explore the charms of Old City and its crooked, narrow lanes that have myriads of stories to tell. The walk starts from Nimrah Cafe after morning tea. Kalakriti Art Gallery at Road No. 10, Banjara Hills, is showcasing an art exhibition titled ‘ Dialogues of Bracket’ at its premises. The work on display are by Faiza Hasan and Priti Kahar. Other than paintings there is an array of sculptures. The works of the artists show the dimensions that shadow and light share with each other. Slice of history
November 21 | Qutb Shahi Tombs
As part of Hyderabad Heritage Festival, a walk to the historical Qutub Shahi Tombs will be organised. Curated by Asiya Khan and KK Mohammed, it will begin at 6.30 am and will continue till 9.30 am. These famous tombs are of seven Qutub Shahi rulers of Deccan region and are located close to the famous Golconda Fort of Hyderabad.

All that jazz
November 25 | Secunderabad
Hyderabad celebrates its first Jazz Festival called Roots & Shoots. It will be held at Secunderabad Club. An artistic collaboration of Indian and German artistes, it will see musicians like Amit Misra for tabla, Sebastian Gramss for double bass and Matthias for trombone.
