March 18 | SPI Cinemas Shakun Batra’s Kapoor & Sons is a story about ailing Amarjeet Kapoor (Rishi Kapoor) who wishes to meet his two estranged grandsons, played by Sidharth Malhotra and Fawad Khan. Also starring Alia Bhatt. Kapoor’s make-up, by Oscar-winning artist, Greg Cannom, took over four hours each day.

This year’s festival of colours has two parties in store — at Radisson Blue Resort Temple Bay Mamallapuram and The Park. While the first promises foam machines by the beach, the second (March 24) offers festive variants of street food like pani puri. DJs for both events include names like Rudy, while the organisers have ensured that organic colour powders will be used.
