Lakmé Salons get a makeover with supermodel favourites and designer Little Shilpa’s creations
viding back-end support at the Lakmé Fashion Week (LFW), the beauty experts felt it was high time they reflected that in their salons, too. “We are known for our professional styling expertise and our years partnering with LFW mean we know what is trending in the market and on the runway—across make-up, skin and hair. So we thought of showcasing it better and have a background to go with it too,” says Pushkaraj Shenai, CEO, Lakmé Lever.
Not only have the Lakmé Salons undergone a nationwide makeover—with runway lights, black accents and huge mirrors giving it an edgy feel—but they have also revamped their service menu. “Our new menu is called Runway Secrets and is more aligned to how models choose their services backstage. So we have sections like Quick Glam (for time-crunched clients who want a quick dose of glamour) to Backstage Rituals (spa therapies). You can also chose across vertical packages (head-to-toe services) and horizontal packages (multiple treatments),” he adds.
One of the highlights at the salon: the Show Stopping Hair collection created by designer Little Shilpa for this year’s LFW, which showcases avant-garde hairstyles and hair colours. And in a exclusive offering, the first 20 customers to opt for the service at any Lakmé salon will get a hair accessory by the designer.
Show Stopping Hair from Rs.4,000 onwards. Details: 66423683
