It is year 2025, and French cop David Hoffman (Albert Dupontel) is seeking revenge against his wife’s murderer, Dimitry Nicolov (Alain Figlarz). He then encounters a series of victims with the same strange markings around their eyes and tracks his suspect to a futuristic trauma hospital. Julien Leclercq’s sci fi thriller features a premise built around memory manipulation. As the investigation intensifies, the simple case of a wanted human trafficker evolves into something infinitely more ominous. The film is considered a homage to Georges Franju’s Eyes Without a Face (1960).
