    Assuming that his music can’t improve without some angst in his life, JJ (Ranbir Kapoor) sets his sights on popular girl Heer (Nargis Fakhri). The two form a friendship before she marries a Prague-based NRI. Meanwhile, JJ is signed to a record label, and  on a tour of Prague, he reunites with Heer, which leads to complications. Fakhri is half Czech, and much of the filming took place in her mother’s native country.

    Cast: John Travolta, Queen Latifah, Nikki Blonsky
    Set in 1960s Baltimore, it stars Tracy Turnblad (Nikki Blonsky), a chubby teenager who loves to dance. Turnblad is obsessed  with a dance show that airs daily on TV and when one of the stars leave, she makes it into the cast, showing that her moves  outweigh her appearance. Once on the show, she becomes uncomfortable with the lack of racial integration, and launches a campaign for change. It took John Travolta four hours to put on the 30-pound fat suit and silicone face prosthetics to become  Turnblad’s mother.

    Cast: Julia Roberts, Albert Finney, David Brisbin
    Based on the true story of a single mother-turned-environmental activist, the film follows Erin (Julia Roberts) as she takes up  a job as a law clerk. Despite not being taken seriously because of her lack of formal education, she initiates an investigation  into a suspicious realestate case. What follows is one of the biggest lawsuits in American history, as her firm takes on a  multibillion dollar corporation. The real Brockovich appears as a waitress named Julia in the film

    Cast: James Franco, Andy Serkis A chimpanzee, Caesar (voiced by AndySerkis), gains human-like qualities after
    being exposed to an experimental drug, and is raised like a child by the drug’s creator, Will Rodman (James Franco). When  Caesar is taken away and imprisoned in an ape sanctuary, he feels abandoned and devises a way to get justice. Though Will  tries to get him out, Caesar has bigger plans. Four weeks before the world premiere, Franco and Serkis reshot the end, which originally saw Will die. It was later left open ended.
