Despair pushes Khumba, an abandoned zebra with just half his stripes, to undertake a journey to find a magical watering-hole that is rumoured to give stripes to the one that swims in it. In this bid to find acceptance in the jungle, Khumba finds himself making new
friends and learning some important life lessons.

Head to the Alliance Francaise of Madras on Monday to catch Italian features, documentaries and short films. Organised by the Indo Cine Appreciation Foundation, in association with the Italian Embassy Cultural Centre, the day-long special screening (with English subtitles) will include the short film, Due Piedi Sinistri—about a 12-year-old boy and his friendship with a mysterious girl of the same age—and Vermilion—a movie about a man named Charlie and what happens when he murders his girlfriend.
